It seams that getting to 200 was taking forever and wasn’t really moving but ever since the days reached the 199, it feels like yesterday and today is 8 days later!
I think i am going to panic!
– I am still waiting on my stationary which i ordered a week ago so I can start making our own invitations.
– I have to make 4 sashes for my bm’s
– I have to make all other stationary required: programs, menus etc….
– Have to figure out how the ceremony will go
– Sit down with FI and figure out all the songs and we are still not sure abotu our first dance song
– I still don’t know what to get my bm’s as gifts!
– Find shoes
– Find a honeymoon spot
– Get wedding bands
– and tons more crap to do!
PLanned to loos 10Lbs, but my weight seams to be a yo-yo now. One day I only have 5Lbs still to loose, 2 days later it’s back to 10! My water retension just does whatever it wants!
All of the sudden it feels like 6 months will not be enough LOL
What is on your to do list ?

I can’t post my to do list b/c I would be in tears!! Lets just say your list is much smaller than mine. Lol
Post # 4
@Lulume: We got engaged on Valentine’s Day. We’ve booked the ceremony and reception space, and we have our photographer, only because my FI’s sister and brother-in-law have an amazing wedding photography business and they’ve offered to do our wedding as a gift! We’ve selected our wedding party, and my cousin (who is a chef) has agreed to cater the rehearsal dinner and reception. That’s all we’ve done, so my to-do list is … EVERYTHING ELSE!
Right now I’m focused on my dress. Hopefully I’ll have that figured out this weekend.
So. Many. Details. left to figure out.

I think I would die if I were counting days, haha. I had no idea that we were even around 199 or whatever it is. I did a bunch of the ‘big planning’ early and only have little things left so honestly I don’t even think about it that much and it has been making time fly!!
What I have left:
Buy BM gifts (they are already picked out though)
Decide on ceremony logistics and music (I have my song picked out for walking down the aisle, but thats it)
Decide on specific song choices for the reception
Make final decisions on dessert bar items
Get FI’s wedding band (already got mine and his is already picked out)
Figure out a wedding gift for FI
Order programs & menus (already picked out)
Thats about it though. I think 6 months is plenty of time to do everything you have left, but planning the honeymoon would take priority if I were you (depending on where you’re thinking of going). We booked ours a couple of months ago.
Plenty of time to lose 10lbs too!

Its funny, some days I feel like time is flying by, and other days I feel like 6 months is sooo far away! There is still plenty left to do, but at least tomorrow I’ll be crossing invitation shopping off the list. I doubt we’ll be ready to order them, but who knows! I feel like once we choose them we can work on the programs and other paper-related things. I’m still deciding on my veil, but once I choose that I will be able to decide on other accessories. It seems like once one decision is made, 5 more follow closely behind. Anyone else feel that way?

- Wedding: October 2013 - The Down Town Club, Philadelphia
I feel the same – where are the dats going!
I still have a fair amount to do:
-reserve rehearsal dinner location (should be done this week)
-order bridesmaid and flower girl dresses
-book hair stylist
-buy wedding bands
-start dance lessons
-finish ceremony programs
-finish table numbers
-work on place cards
-frames for various signage
-finalize readings for ceremony
-purchase BM’s gifts (have some stuff, but have to finish)
-assemble kids activity books
-figure out a card box
-DIY mercury glass vases
OK. When I write it all out like that, it makes me panic a little.
Gotta start checking things off the list, day by day.
190 DAYS TO GO!!!

AHHH that’s so funny! Because a couple of weeks ago, someone said to me “AAHH it’s in 6 months” and I was so shocked!!! I crammed so much in the last couple of weeks its ridic! Surely I can get the rest of my wedding done by then!” -I say this to myself if I start freaking out… haahha Here’s what I’ve got… (I like to list out what I’ve done too.. just to make myself feel better 🙂 ) TACTICS!
