Great job. 🙂 I agree, the Hive has been so helpful/inspiration in regards to DIYs I never thought I could attempt.

That is exactly the song I heard in my head when I read the subject. I’m so excited I’m finally to the DYI projects portion of wedding planning!!

Miss PumpkinPenguin: I think different vases could be a better idea. I almost think the pitcher is a bit too “fancy” for the cuteness of the whimsical pinwheels…maybe a taller vase??..Embarassed sorry, I don’t mean to make you feel bad with that statement because the idea as a whole is really cute & fun…

I love the pinwheel centrepiece!! I wish I could do something fun like that…..I’m up against my mother! I have decided I need to pick my battles and centrepieces was one battle I decided not to fight.

phew, good…you know I was thinking about it and I think it’s not the shape of the vase that is throwing it off for me because the white & detail is really cute, I think its the handle…I’d like to see your final when its done. good luck & have fun!!

Did you make the pinwheels or did you buy them? It’s super cute and I love it!

Those pinwheels are super cute.  I’d suggest making one smaller then the others or shorter – just to add dimension.
