From your picture #1 to picture #2 it almost looks like swatches 2 & 3 are flip flopped. Swatch 2 is very pink in picture #1, wheres in picture #2 swatch 3 looks more pink.

Regardless, for me I think you should pick swatch 2, or 3. I don’t care for 1 or 4 at all.

@MissMay3003:  Yeah, I noticed the same thing.

@Barbiestylez:  I think swatch #1 is too cool for your skintone and swatch #3 (based on your 2nd and 3rd photos) is a bit too baby-pink.

If you want to go for a subtle look, I’d suggest swatch #2 (the pale champagne color). For a bit more drama, go with #4 as it will provide great contrast. Ugh, both are so pretty, I can’t decide which I like better, #2 or #4. Good luck!!

@Miss Mauverick:  I agree. Depending on what look you are going for I’d go with either 2 or 4. My personal preference would be 2. Regardless of which color you pick, I would lean towards the ivory overlay. Your skintone is similar to mine and I look way better in ivory than in white.

i love 4, it looks more flesh toned but not a gold like #1.

@Barbiestylez:  If you’re going to be a few shades darker I agree that 4 is the best choice.

To achieve the look you’re seeking, I would choose either swatch 1 or swatch 4, even though I personally do not like the color of swatch 1 as it stands alone.  However, it’s important to keep in mind that this fabric will be completely covered with lace where it touches your skin and will only show through as a background color. Because of this, I think it will be fine.

You really need to have a darker background tone to provide sufficient contrast to make that light lace “pop.”

4 is my favorite and I think it looks good next to your skin

@Barbiestylez:  Yes, the more I look at the swatches, the more I like #4. The contrast would be just stunning. #2 is pretty, but it’s rather light and I think it would not do justice to the amazing detail on the lace overlay. I voted for #4.

i actually quite like #1. not on it’s on but i think it makes the lace pop the most and once it’s completely covered, i feel like it will achieve the look of your inspiration pic more than the others.

Very pretty dress.  I prefer 2 because I just don’t think that dress looks good in more nude/flesh colored tones like on the bride in the pic.  She looks nakedish, like she’s just wearing lace- 4 seems like it might have that effect on you.  I think you’d look much better in 2 and it’ll look classier and you’ll like it more in pics and for years to come.

You can tell best which of those colors would look most nude on you- I’d suggest picking one that won’t have you looking like you’re wearing an unlined lace shaper/bustier with a skirt and forgot the top part of your dress.  But, if you want the nude effect & looking like you’re wearing lace only, do your thing.
