I'm giving them all the same stuff in their totebags (screen-printed shirt, emergency supplies, flip flops) except for jewelry, I got them each something to go with their unique necklines. They each chose different dresses, so their jewelry reflects that. Also, I'm painting wine glasses for them which will each be a little different.
I'm giving them a necklace with their birthstone. Different in some way =)
I don't think there is a single gift that every single woman will enjoy. Most people I've talked to agree. Pick something like you would purchase for their birthday or Christmas that fits their individual interests.
Since we're having a peacock theme, I'm making all my girls peacock feather earrings. I'm giving a little something extra to my MOH, a peacock clutch! So I guess I'm giving the same thing, but kind of different too!
We got all of ours different gifts. We approached it with the mindset that we were just buying them a really nice birthday present, and went from there. I think we got some really great gifts - it took a little more time and shopping to get different things for everybody in the wedding party, but I'm glad we did.
I picked out the same gift, but cusotmized each with colors and a monograms (i got them jewlery rolls custom made from a user on Etsy!)
I want to get my girls each their own unique gift, and now I'm trying to figure out what that will be! I don't think they will be wedding related at all, but oh well.
I wanted to get my girls unique gifts, but I wasn't quire sure what to get. Then, I realized that the weather was going to be quite cool on our wedding day, and that they would be in cocktail dresses, so I decided to get them all cashmere wraps so they wouldn't freeze. They had decided on the dresses themselves, and I had no idea what the actual color was, so I figured that a slightly off-white wrap was the best option. They had the ability to exchange it for another color if they wanted, or even for something else completely (since I got them from Nordstrom), and one bridesmaid did exchange for the same wrap in a different color because she already had a white wrap. But on the whole, they loved them and didn't seem to mind getting the same gift!
We're probably going to do snarky tshirts for everyone, so each person will get a personal tshirt that matches their personality. I'll probably do pearl necklaces too for the girls, but only because I can buy really nice pearls directly at a pearl market where I live and not pay US import taxes (since I'm not reselling them) that make them soooo expensive. And I think I'll be asking them to wear them at the wedding. If we end up doing a winter wedding, I'll probably get Pashminas too, since those are also produced here, and I can get really nice ones for cheap as well.
Living abroad has it's benefits. :)
DayDreamwanderer: I'm also thinking of gifting my 'maids pearl necklaces. My future in-laws are currently living in Shanghai, so I'm hoping to enlist her help on picking up some pearl jewelry for me. Would you happen to have any recommendations on where she should be looking or at what price range I might be able to find decent, genuine pearls? Any help is much appreciated as she is new to Shanghai and doesn't quite know where to start!

I really want to get something individual for everyone but I still have to figure out what to get. Luckily I've got some time.
I'm planning on giving everyone the same general stuff in the bag i'm getting them, but some stuff will be personalized-fave color, & I might get something that just they like.

Are you giving your girls all the same gift, or getting them individual different ones? Sometimes I think it's hard to find the right gift that works for everyone.
