I sit in front of a big window (which I am sooooo thankful for) at work, and when it is cloudy/rainy/dreary…it makes me feel soooooooooooo sleeeeeeepy. I am sitting here right now staring at the big, black clouds rolling in (we are supposed to get big storms today) and I feel like I am going to FALL ASLEEP. Like…totally pass out. Anyone else in the Philly, PA region feeling sluggish today? I think on days like this workplaces should let us nap.

We keep saying that in our office, too!
I’m just happy it’s rain – marks 3 days in a row with NO SNOW! 🙂

I completely second the nap time idea. It’s rainy here too 🙁

Nap time at work would be awesome! Adults need naps sometimes.

I’m about to pull a George Costanza and curl up under my desk. I even have a snuggie here for days like today.

ahhh I have thought about doing the George. I think I could pull it off, my desk is in an L shaped corner and if I put my chair just right…noone would see me!

Nap time and gyms! If I could do a quick 30 minute workout during lunch without leaving the building and paying an expensive gym membership fee that would be so awesome.

Ah, there should be nap time or least a place for employees to take a nap during their lunch break; I think that too many people would take advantage.
@moderndaisy – I actually do have a gym at my work a couple of floors down. It does cost $25 dollars a month, but it is worth that to have my evenings at home workout-free 🙂

@Caitmarae- A snuggie..love that! The best I can do here is my heater under my desk!

Its thunderstorming here in NoVA and I too wish I could take a nap! I always talk about how I wish I had a little cot under my desk and I could just nap for a little bit!

I think preschool was the last time in my life that I was allowed to nap during the day. I might have ended up a better human being if I had been able to nap all these years! I think Europeans have it right. Start work late in the morning, take a 3 hour lunch, work again till evening, have dinner at 9pm 🙂
