I'm really excited too. I don't know when they are releasing it in the UK though. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long after the US release.

I'm looking forward to the movie, though I still haven't gotten over how bad the last book was. Undecided

I can't wait! I was so against Jennifer Lawrence, Lenny Kravitz, and some other casting...but they all look amazing in the trailer.

@mrsjazz:I agree. When I heard about the casting of Jennifer Lawrence especially I was really disappointed. It all seemed to mesh in the trailer though..fingers crossed that it'll be like that throughout the entire movie!

    I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES!!

For a while, all they had was the teaser trailer, which basically just showed Katniss running through the woods. I was so excited the other day when I saw they released a real trailer. I seriously cannot wait.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo comes out in December (which already seems a long ways away), then I have to wait 3 months after that for this movie?!

I really hope they did a good job of the movie. The trailer didn't really wow me all that much...I have a feeling this might be one of the ones where I read the book first and the movie totally lets me down.

@Moose1209: I was really against how they cast Peeta and Gale but in the trailer it all seems to have come together. I'm surprised they got some of the bigger names in there! (not the kids)

I loved the books! I watched the trailer twice already, I loved it, I really think they are going to do a good job with this movie. I try to seperate the movies and books when I see something so I'm not disappointed.

I was estatic to see this! Can't wait! I wasn't disappointed in the trailer at all! Some of the scenes are close to what I pictured when reading. I think they will do a great job with the movies!

The teaser trailer was horribly underwhelming, and I was scared.  But the real trailer looks much better!

@Mrs. Fireworks:  I'm also so excited about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  Now THAT was a teaser trailer done right (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVLvMg62RPA

I wasn't sure how I felt about Elizabeth Banks as Effie T, but in the trailer she totally looks how I pictured her.

You guys. I am so excited. How am I going to last until March?!

I'm so stoked for this movie!

@sarahbabs: I'm totally looking forward to that movie too, it had amazing trailers! Poor DH has been informed that he will be seeing Both Dragon Tattoo and Hunger Games on the opening weekends...

@Running Elley: I'm sad there's not a way to take the quiz without linking it to my FB and I don't have a twitter.

@sarahbabs: I hadn't seen the Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo trailer yet. It looks awesome. I loved the books and the Swedish versions of the movies too.

@jimbert321: When DH saw the teaser trailer for Dragon Tattoo he was like, "Didn't they just do these movies? Ugh." Then we saw the theatrical trailer a while later, and now he thinks it looks great and totally wants to go see it, lol.

I am sooo soooo excited for this movie. I devoured the books.

Has anyone seen the Japanese movie Battle Royale? It's basically the same plot as the first Hunger Games book, but it came out way before.

@jimbert321:  LOL, I feel like there are many worse fates that could befall him.  Both movies have elements that could appeal to a range of moviegoers :)

@KatNYC2011:  If you can access that youtube link in the UK, I'd def check it out.  I think it is my favorite teaser trailer ever - the Karen O/Reznor cover of Immigrant Song is just so perfect for it, and I literally get chills watching it sometimes.

@MrsMcGyro: I love Battle Royale!  I noted the similarity too, but I don't think any modern author can really lay claim to the fight to the death plotline.  The end of Battle Royale is just weird though hehe.  And Hunger Games has so much else going on with the overarching political theme.
