Hmmmm that is an interesting idea, but totally would work for those in that situation worried about the grand entrance.
Hmmm never heard of that before. Luckily, there is shrubbery around (getting married in an arboretum garden place) so no one should see me walking to the "aisle."

So you would be seen while the other girls are walking down the aisle? Or do you mean ushers? We are doing the first-look before the ceremony but I still want my "entrance" haha anyway. Where I'm getting married I'll be coming out glass doors, but you can't see into the lodge due to the lovely solar black tinting :) My sister got married at an outdoor park and also stood behind a big pine tree. To get to the pine tree all of us girls just walked right in front of her to keep her from being seen--very fun :)

I was reading charleston weddings today and they had a fabulous idea!
If you're concerned about a long walk outside where people will see you before you get to the aisle, have two attendants walk in front of you, each with a large golf umbrella (white, black, whatever color you would like) and then when you get to the end of the aisle, the two attendants separate and ta-da, first look!
It was something I'd only briefly thought about, but a great idea! Hope it helps someone else out too!
