When dogs have an anaphylactic raction, they have skin and gastrointestinal signs (unlike cats and people that can have skin and respiratory signs).  The vomiting could be related to whatever triggered her allergic reaction.  Some dogs may need to be hospitalized on fluid therapy for at least a day depending on how bad it is.  If she continues to vomit, or her attitude changes, you should probably take her to an after hours emergency vet.

chicken is a very common allergy too. just fyi. Hopefully it’s the spider bites but my dog is allergic to chicken so if you just switched her food or something, that could be a possibility. I’m glad she’s doing better!

@jasonkatie2014:  If she’s already had a lot of Benadryl and your vet gave a steroid shot, I would hold off on giving her more.  If she is still having problems after all that I would have her seen by the ER vet before giving her any more meds at home.
