My midwife recommended Zyrtec or regular Claritin.

I took a Claritin a few days before I got my BFP. I believe I looked it up after the fact and found it to be safe.

@wandering_gypsy:  I take a generic Claritin from Costco, the medication is called “Loratidine.” My doctor says this is totally fine to take throughout pregnancy. Thank goodness because I have allergy induced asthma so if I don’t take it, my breathing gets all crazy!

One of the first things I asked my doctor at my first pregnancy appointment was “can I still take my allergy medicine” lol.  I can’t live without it.  She said Zyrtec (which is what I take) Clairitn, Benedryl, and Tylenol Sinus stuff is ok.

On Zyrtec vs Claritin: My DR said that Claritin is pretty much useless and to use Zyrtec. If you’re worried about drowsiness take it in the early evening.
