Ms. Snuggie! I'm a woman in waiting. I call myself Ms. Snuggie because that is what my man calls me. I suspect I'll be engaged before 2010 and am actually okay with waiting until early 2010. It would be super romantic to get engaged New Year's Eve and have our wedding New Year's Eve of 2010 or New Year's of 2011. We've been together for almost a year now. Initially we both went into our relationship with extreme caution. After failed marriages (we've been married before) we did not want to start a worthless relationship. So, it took us a while to meet, and even after meeting, a while for introductions to the families and even longer for an "official" commitment. He and I both agree, we were worth the wait. I enduringly call him Mr. LOML. LOML=love of my life. He calls me Ms. Snuggie because I loooove Snuggies and it was the first thing we didn't have in common. Frankly, he doesn't get the point. But, he loves him some me, so of course, one of the first gifts he purchased for me was a pink snuggie. I knew at that point, he was the one.
I look forward to becoming part of this website and getting some inspiration and encouragement from all you ladies. From what I've seen thus far, I'm liking it. Unlike my bf boss lady, 91011Bride (she is one of the attorneys I provide paralegal support to and happens to be one of my best bossy friends), I am not in the planning phase yet, but I am conducting a lot of research. I've always loved weddings. I currently write for two editorials (one strictly wedding related and the other as the bridal fashion examiner). So, after weeks of pressure from the boss lady, I've finally decided to join Weddingbee and the waiting bee community. Happy waiting and planning and holidays!
