I’ve had a favourite florist since before we were even engaged. I spent months lusting over them. And initially they said they were available, then I received a very sweet email from the owner saying that due to personal circumstances it was unlikely that htey’d be taking bookings for the summer (southern hemisphere) and thus she was referring us on to a different florist with a similar style.
The other florist happened to be our second choice and for some reason I was panicking about getting this booked early so I sucked it up and booked florist number 2.
But whilst I think florist 2 would do a great job, I am still incredibly obsessed by florist 1 (http://www.helloblossoms.com.au ). There’s a chasm between my love for Florist 1 and my like for Florist 2. And I stupidly never unliked Florist 1’s fb page and today they made a comment about looking forward to the summer wedding season. So obviously the personal circumstnaces that would have made them unavailable didn’t eventuate.
But… we’ve paid a non-refundable $500 deposit to Florist 2. And we can’t just let that go. So we’ll go with Florist 2 and I”m sure they’ll be absolutely fine but I”m just spewing that I wasn’t more patient! And there’s nothing I can do about it! Ugh.
