Yay dress twins times 1000!!! I did the exact same thing you did with this dress, however I found that I couldn’t remove the straps because the dress sat so low that if I was to dance and move around a lot I could have had a majour wardrobe malfunction! I opted to remove the lace top for the reception and put the straps on for security.

Also if you want to discuss bustle methods I’d be happy to let you know what my seamstress did. It was complicated but I loved how she did it!
