@kalenka: Hi! I had the same issue with my dress! At least I "thought" I did. Unfortuantely though, I deleted my original dress pics off my phone (didn't want my FI to see them by accident).
I was really worried about it not being full enough and that the waist was too low (sound familiar?
). So, I went e-bay and purchase a hoop skirt (this one) to try on with the dress... and it made a HUGE difference.
I wish I could show you the before pic so that you could see the difference, but in the after pic below, the dropped waist is no longer an issue and my dress is very "ballgown-y."

Give the hoop skirt a try (def be sure to get on with adjustable and removable hoops so you can get the fullness you desire). Also, be sure to purchase the crinoline/petticoat BEFORE your first dress fitting.
Also, note that by adding the crinoline, it may shorten the length of your dress by raising it up a bit.
kalenka I am interested to see if you tried the dress on with a larger skirt? If so, do you have any pictures?

Hi all,
My dress is Allure 8801, I never thought I would pick a dress like that. My girls begged me to try something with ruffles and 3D skirt, but I refused since I always thought I wanted a classic silk mermaid or a dropped waist silk ballgown. I finally gave up and decided to try some ruffled ones just for fun. Once I tried Allure 8801, I knew that was it. Now I am waiting for it to arrive in August.
BUT lately I have been having doubts about it not being ballgowny enought. I was wondering how can I make it puffier and bigger. I always wanted a droped waist ball gown that puffs out at the hips, something like this Maggie one, I know I won't be able to make my gown so dramatic.
Do you have any suggestions on how can I make Allure 8801 puffier at at hips. I have been looking at crinolines, but I am lost what kind to get to acheive the look I want. Did anybody try Allure 8801 or similar with extra crinoline?
Thanks for the suggestions.
