Hello ladies! I need your help and advice! I am wearing the Allure 9000 dress for my big day. However, I am now a little concerned with how fitted the dress is and also the very low back. I was told I could get cups sewn in or wear a very low back bra/corset. I am very busty (36DD), so I need something that will hold me in. What are your thoughts on keeping the ta-tas under control? Also, do I wear a slip or spanx under this dress? I am just so confused with what kind of undergarments to wear. Any advice??!!!

@cgirl02: I would definitely get cups sewn into the dress but I’m not sure about a slip or anything – you could probably skip it but i’ll let others weigh in! Good luck!

You won’t need a slip as far as just coverage/light blocking. You might need a spanx style slip if you have any lumps or bumps you want to be smoother. This isn’t a very structured dress, even though it is very fitted. Meaning – it won’t hold you in, it is meant to skim over what your curves are. Tweak your curves with spanx if you so choose 🙂 just check that the start and stop lines aren’t visible through the fabric. Try them on together before you take the tags off your undergarments. Also, nude colored is better than white. If you’re a DD, I’d definitely recommend a low-back strapless bra as opposed to cups being sewn in. The underwire and band around you is what will give you lift. Cups will only round out or fill in.
Hope this helps:)
