I love it! About the trip to the church, there isn't anywhere at the church that you could change? I thought they had rooms for that sort of thing.
That was almost my dress! It was probably the most flattering on me, but I ended up with a Cymbelline Paris dress instead. It really is incredibly flattering on you.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I definitely got that feeling when I saw myself in it but I wanted to make sure I wasn't just feeling what everyone else in the room was feeling too! I figured why not ask fellow brides for their take on it as well
@MissAsB: You know, I never really thought of getting dressed somewhere closer lol. My photographer will be riding with us up to the church in our limo to get the pics of us girls having fun (and my nerves!) so I would prefer to be in my dress. Plus I figured I'd want to wear the darn thing as much as I possibly can!
@Azin: I didn't put a deposit down yet because both of the places that I went to also carry the BM dresses that I want for my girls so since I'd be getting my dress from one of them, I want to see what kind of deal they will give for the BM dresses too (I have 7 girls so their dresses plus mine will mean A LOT of money for them!)

@bananapants: I sooo wish I remember the details of the bustier because I would run out and buy it now and just wear it around the house all the time. I'm going back to the shop later this month so I'll have to find out and then will post!

Hi ladies! So I went on my first dress shopping excursion today with Mom and one of my MOHs and I am pretty definitely sure I found my dress! I had a few criteria going into it a) I wanted a strapless with sweethear neckline b) I'm petite so nothing too big that would overpower me and c) the ride to the church is about an hour so nothing that wrinkles easily. I think this dress fits it all and then some! I just have to order it for it to be MY dress! I'd love to hear what you all think and please be honest! I'm in love right now and we all know that when we're in love we see everything with stars in our eyes. Oh...and the best part, the first shop also had this UH-MAY-ZING bustier thing that made my little girls go HELLO (in a demure way)...but they didn't allow pics. These pics are from the second store.
