Yes, but for a different reason.  I lost over 100 lbs since my wedding and now am super happy with how I look.  I’d love to get a redo on my wedding pics and to try on different dresses now to see how they look.

It’s probably not a bad idea to block certain websites from your computer and avoid going by certain stores. You’ve had a wedding already. No reason to be looking at dresses any more. Find a new hobby to fill your time and move on. If you want a vow renewal somewhere down the road, that is all fine and good but the motivation should be something more substantial than just being able to buy a new dress.

Hey, it’s Prom season… you can always go and try on some fun prom dresses at a department store!!!

I can honestly say not at all! I didn’t particularly enjoy wedding dress shopping the first time around. Just another wedding chore that had to get done. So I have no more desire to look at more dresses than I do to look for more DJs. I do, however, love my wedding dress and just got it dyed black so that I can wear it to a formal event this weekend!

@playdohpants:  My best friend has this idea and I thought it was genius!  I’m still not married yet, but I could have work the b’maid dress I wore in her wedding.

@langloiswedding2013:  I love looking at dresses on here! There was another thread a while back about if I were to get married again what dress would I choose…..or something like that! I think if you are on here after your wedding them its kinda natural to get that ohhh ahhh feeling  when you see a beautiful dress but oh lord I don’t ever want to go trying them on again anytime soon…..LOL! It took me 8 stores and several dresses to find the one……but maybe one day far far away a vow renewal!

All the time. I’ve gotten to thinking about how I will convince every friend/cousin/neice/child/grandchild of mine to let me come with them when they get engaged. I always tell my husband “if we have a daughter, I don’t want to tell her whether or when she should get married, or what kind of wedding she should have…but I hope she wants a big fancy wedding and wants me to help plan.” Ha, she’ll probably want the exact opposite.
