I dont understand the question? are u tryin to alter the Dallas marie to look like Adorae? Have you already bought your dress? If not I would just find a similar looking mermaid rather than paying extra in alterations to completely change the Dallas marie

I’m considering buying a dress and altering a little bit to be a more modified A-line than a traditional a-line.  I want it to hug me a little closer than it currently does. I don’t see a problem with doing that, then you really get the custom look that no one else will have.

But if you are on a budget, I’d recommend first looking for other dresses that already have that look so you don’t have to pay for those alterations.  There are tons of other dresses with a dropped waist shape that you may love even more than the altered Dallas Marie.  But in the end, do whatever will make you happy.
