Hello,

I bought my dress off the rack at White Chicago last September and need to take it back now for alterations. Alterations there start at $350.00. Is this the going rate downtown Chicago? I just need a bustle and the halter adjusted, so that seems a lot to me. Any other recommendations or should I just go back to White Chicago? I love their service, so I'm fine with that, but I thought I would check here first!

I went to The Dress Doctor at Water Tower. They are the absolute best in the business. They're quite pricey (my alterations ran around $550), but it was worth every penny - my dress fit like a glove, I was thrilled!
