This is a little far for you but Lee's Alterations in Franklin just off Hillsboro Rd is great... they do a lot of wedding dresses/bustles/etc.
Hi! I had my dress altered by a lady named Ann, and I met her at Glitz formalwear in Bellevue. I can't remember her last name and I've lost her card! But she did AMAZING things with my dress! She does not work exclusively for Glitz, so perhaps you can call and get her number from them?
I forgot about another place that's highly recommended... Rubens Taylor Shop in Green Hills (it's a glass building across from La Paz).
Ann's number is 615-218-8409. I bought my dress at Glitz, and got her card, but didn't end up even having a fitting with her because a friend is altering it with a faster turn around (my dress came in with 3 weeks until the wedding day). She seemed to be cool!
I don't know if you've already made a decision on who to use or not. But I have to highly recommend Oakwood Cleaners on White Bridge Rd. Denean does a fantastic job and she alters any kind of dress from high-end couture to David's Bridal. When she was finished, my dress fit me perfectly!

Anyone have suggestions for where to go for alterations in or around Nashville? We live 30 minutes north-east of Nashville. My dress comes in June so I need to find a place to alter it soon. Thank you!
