Alterations for wedding dress

Alot can change in 6 months – especially if you are actively trying to lose weight/inches. also – you may find someone closer once you move, and if not – you have already said you can stay with your brother. personally i would wait until closer to the wedding before getting alterations done.

willingham2:  I didn’t start my alterations until less than 2 months before the wedding, and my final fitting was 2 weeks before the wedding.

As weird_bunny said, a lot can change in 6 months. And if she needs 2 months to do it, wow… that seems like a long time! I was lucky and went to a local seamstress who I had done business with before, and she would have my stuff done within a couple days for me to try on again.
