@MissDW: I'm getting my dress altered with Christine Hoyt (http://www.chstudios.com/) and I really like her so far. She seems very experienced and had great ideas about how to alter my dress and do the bustle. Her website is not very helpful but I would get in touch with her. Prices seem pretty typical for quality work--I need side seams let out, hemming, cups, and a bustle and the total is around $400. Good luck!
