Any one with a Mori Lee 5108 have any stories about having their dress taken in?
I tried on a 10 at the dress shop, and was measured/ordered a 14. I was told if I did in fact lose the weight I keep saying I’m going to (like they haven’t heard that a million times!) that it could be taken in up to three sizes. Does that sound right?
Here’s me in the 10:
Now what you can’t see is that even laced up it wouldn’t completely “shut” in the back, it’s so definitely too small.
My goal is to be a 10 by the time it comes in, is that doable alterations wise?

If it’s a lace up it should be fine, there is a little wiggle room as far as sizing goes. However, I think you look great hte way you are. A 14 to a 10 is a big jump (trust me I tried for my wedding) I was a 14 and got down to a 12 and that was a lot of work. Good luck to yoU!

Yup, totally doable! Especially if it’s too small on you now.

I had the same problem I was a size 16 in bust but the dress was huge on me. I took the risk and ordered a 12 it fits a little snug right now but I have a year and a half to lose 10lbs and it would be perfect. The lace up back can give you about 2 extra inches in the bust and waist but I don’t think it would give in the hips.

Hi ladies! I’m in Australia and want to buy this dress online from the US but I’m just curious about what sizes you all are and what size you bought? According to the Mori Lee size chart, my bust and waist fit the 6 but my hips (well, thighs) fit the size 8. My measurements are approximately 34-25.5-39. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
