I've never been to her, but I am going to be seeing Kim Trickey at the Bridal Loft on the 21st for my final fitting. I'm getting most my alterations done early here on the East Coast, but want to do one last "look" in Portland. Her reviews seem really good!
I had to track some people down to see who could do mine now. and Kim got back to me right away with open dates. But I ended up picking someone who was closer to me. But Kim had great reviews which was why I had contacted her!!
If this is the Kathi you are referring to, DO NOT GO TO HER!!!
She used to be amazing before she started over booking herself. I have seen more than one stressful terrible situation with her.
@ms.oregon.state: it is. and she has altered many dresses for me in the past few months. and I have never had a problem
@KendallR10: maybe it was just last season, or she overly books herself in July. or maybe it was just a bad year....

@ms.oregon.state: I can understand during wedding season. Most places are super busy. Thats why I'm getting married in the off season
Kathi is the one who told me that I should have made my alteration appointments as soon as I knew when my dress was coming in. Which I couldn't do anyway since my dress was late in general..and I didn't find my shoes until just a few weeks ago.
i did a little bit of research in the portland are and i found a woman named tatyana - you can look her up on city search and she has about 50 reviews. i haven't used her myself, but i plan on it once my dress comes in

Does anyone know of a good alterations place in the Portland/Beaverton/Tigard area? I bought my dress on Etsy and I know that I'm going to need to get some alterations once it gets here.
