@Zephi:  Ahh, so you don’t want any gap at all. In that case I think you may need to get your diamond set in a different band with a higher stone setting. Or you’ll have to get a curved wedding band. Or just deal with the slight gap. Maybe you should try the ring on with a straight band first to see how the gap looks. It might not be as bad as you think.

ETA: After re-reading your original post, it seems your concern is that the band is thicker on the bottom than the top. I don’t know that it will matter so much. But again, try it on with an actual ring.

I have no suggestion when it comes to the width on the bottom of the band, but my rings are 14k white gold, and along my palm they are scratched to hell, but the rest of my rings look fine (they do have a ton of detail on them though)

@Zephi:  I wear them EVERY.DAY.ALL.THE.TIME.. Like they come off to shower if I remember to take them off, and to put nylons on.. thats it… I have had my bands since May 25
