I am dreaming of a wedding out of The Mists of Avalon. Earthy and intimate. I wear a simple, dark blue gown and have flowers in my hair, wildflowers in my hands. We celebrate around bonfires and dances to flutes and hand drums.
Elope in Italy, just the two of us, and then our "reception" is at a tiny Italian jazz club.
Bare foot in the middle of nowhere in a field of flowers with only our closest family and friends. ..... the barefoot part is ultra important in this one!!
backyard wedding at my parents house, byob potluck style, with only natural decor from around their farm. id be wearing a simple sundress and i'd have my 14 yr old brother be the officiant. bbq, bonfire, boombox.
In an alternate universe, my wedding would be one where I didn't have to overthink the price of every single thing....it would have a lot of little details whose price I wouldn't think twice about and be in a place that I could never afford like....the Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas.
Oooh! I like that too. An unlimited budget would certainly help, though I also LOVE the idea of a simple, casual affair with only a few friends and family. I'd go for a mountain top instead of a beach, however. I'm a Colorado girl, what can I say?

This morning while driving to work I was day dreaming about an alternate universe wedding where we'd get married barefoot on a sandy beach: super casual, ocean breeze, and a bonfire with smores.
