I’m newish here and I’m surprised by Waiting to Be Proposed To lists and “my boyfriend and I picked out a ring now I wait” and “we are almost engaged” and “he told me he’d ask me by June” etc. I guess that’s the new fangled way of getting engaged?? Where really it’s not a surprise at all?? Okay, I can get that. Things change I guess.
Soooo I was wondering if these dudes have their own website like the Wedding Bee. Are they starting threads like, “I was gonna ask her in June, but she kept pressuring me so I ran” or “I wonder if she’ll say yes?” (of course she will) or “Do you think she’ll think this ring is too small ?”
What would they call their website??

I’m a member of a forum that is probably 90% men and there is a (as in ONE) wedding/engagement thread for all members (male and female) to talk weddings/rings. It’s pretty common to see men post a ring and ask for everyone’s opinion. But I doubt there are whole entire forums dedicated to engagements/weddings, aimed at men. They just don’t occupy much of their brain thinking about all this like we do. Stereotypes ahoy, but that’s my observation.
Actually, I lie. Pricescope is probably the closest to that that I can think of. It’s kind of just a general diamond-admiring forum, though.

I think this is the closest thing: http://www.theplunge.com/
It came up in some wedding related/obsessed search I was doing for who knows what. But, yeah, is this what you’re talking about?
