Rental floorings, especially decent ones (i.e., a step up from plywood), are really expensive! I am a swing dancer and go to events where they've rented floors to cover up carpeting in ballrooms, and I've often heard tell of how expensive they are!
I wonder if you could get astroturf or something. I have no idea if it would work or how much it costs, but maybe...?
Oh no! That is sucky :-/ I wish I had a solution for you!
Wait, I wonder if you went to like Home Depot you could get cheap tile flooring to just throw out... not very green, but maybe a solution.
I thought about purchasing like a cheap indoor/outdoor carpet. But when you multiply anything by 2400sf it adds up FAST!

Anyone know of any alternatives to tent flooring?
Our venue re-graded the area where we are setting up our tent and planted new grass, which was awesome. But if you are anywhere near New England you know it has rained almost everyday this summer, which means all our 'grass' has been washed away - and we will be pretty much on half grass/half gravel. Ugh!
I looked into getting a tent floor and quickly realized I don't have another $4k to drop on a FLOOR!
