I haven’t done or seen the wooden monogram in person but that is what I plan on doing. I saw a few different ones on pintrest and they looked great. Much more interesting than a book for sure. I say go for it 🙂 love to see how it turns out too!

I don’t have a picture of it right now since I’m at work but we’re planning to do something I had seen on pinterest… It’s a large canvas painting with a giant heart on it or really whatever you want it to be and everyone signs that.

Fingerprint Guest book, wishing tree, signing a matte around a picture, – these are getting pretty popular.

If it didn’t involve a self mutlilation of your guests – I would be interested in using your wood idea and have them sign their names with a wood burning pen. Besides the danger aspect though – I would think it would also be time consuming.

You could do the quest book quilt, poloroids, notes/advice for the couple tags, small messages in a bottle to open on your anniversary, an open bible and have the guests sign/highlight their favorite verse.

I was going to do the fingerprint tree…its starting to get overdone though…

I have seen the open calendar and you ask them to sign their name and address on their birthday or anniversary – then you can send cards !!! (This is where I am currently leaning now 🙂

Edit: I think in your request specifically you should have someone create an ‘EST’ design and print it on canvas for people to sign.
