I'm not sure about your religion, but I have seen Catholic brides carry a bible and rosary. My mom back in the early 80's carried a fan.
Here, check out the OffBeat Bride site. They have some suggestions for flower bouquet alternatives.
I think a fan or parasol is the most common non-bouquet alternative but I second otb's suggestion of OffBeat Bride. It's very good.
What about feathers?

I agree with the above... feathers, rosary, parasols, fans, also what about a different type of bouquet, like a button one?
i went without a bouquet too! no boutonnieres / BM bouquets / flowergirls etc. It was a non-floral wedding!
I held my clutch purse, and I also had a red parasol for some pictures. i actually also had a silk ball (a folded 'ball' shape made of red silk) but it was misplaced (ended up in my MOH's car's trunk!) and i didn't hold it until our send-off :P
you can PM me for pictures / ideas if you'd like :)
Ooooh OTB THANK YOU! :))) I knew bees could get me out of any problem I run into ;)

Hey Bees,
Help me out here but...I DONT want a Bouquet! *GASPGASPGASP!* But its true, I really dont care for flowers. My bridesmaids will be carrying pomanders with silk flowers and my little sister will toss rose petals and thats enough flowers for me....so what are some alternatives of things to hold for a bride? Pictures would be greatly appreciated! And we have a very vintage feeling wedding if that helps at all ;)
THANK YOUUUU
