you can do a tribute to him (by making a slideshow of father-daughter moments - pictures of you and your dad while growing up is a great touch and sure to bring tears) or just dedicate the song to him during the course of the night. I think a few words about your dad and then having them play that song while hug & kiss are being exchanged is sweet.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We are planning to not having any traditions such as father daughter dance, first dance, bouquet toss, garter, etc. and going to have casino night instead. We are having a small wedding with only close friends and family and both sides of our family is very into gambling. We decided to not have a dance floor because we really don't think any of our guests will dance and to be honest both FH and I don't dance either.
After reading the thread on father daughter dance and downloading the song I Loved Her First by Heartland I fell in love with the song. Any suggestion on alternatives that I can do with my dad using that song besides dancing? FH and I were thinking to roll our first dice at the craps table together as an alternative to our first dance.
Thanks.
