    Hi all,

I've been brainstorming ideas and have come up with an alternative to the sand ceremony and am wonering if anyone else has ever done this.  My idea is to use wax beads you can find various places, which is another question too, but using two different colors together and then also inserting a wick so it could be used later as a candle.  What are thougths on this?

Also, does anyone know of a good source for these wax beads?  I've found one called pebblecandles.com which looks good, but am just looking around for other possibilities at the moment.

    Thanks!

My mother-in-law came up with the same idea (after I already purchased my ceremony set).  The center vase isn't shaped to use as a candle but I was thinking of using the outside vases for the candles and keeping the center as just a keepsake since it has our monogram and date.  This is the one I purchased: Heart Shaped Sand Ceremony Set.  I loved the idea of the wax beads and was going to post the same question...where do you find them?  I checked my local "mom & pop" craft stores and only found one that used to carry them.  Let me know if you find any others.
