I'd like to hear some ideas too! I'm not sure how I feel about a father/daughter dance, but I'd love to still honor my father somehow.

I don't know if this helps but... my friend got married and had a reception in her parent's backyard (they lived in the country). Instead of the dance, her dad pushed her on this rope swing that was sentimental to them while a very sweet song was playing. I thought this was a very cute idea but you would need to be in an area with trees!

Can you do something like a slide show with pictures of the 2 of you throughout life?  With a cute song playing?  I love the song by Loudon Wainwright called "Daughter".  It's the song at the end of "Knocked Up".

I'm struggling with ideas too for the father/daughter dance.  My father doesn't dance at all, my mom says he has no rhythm to speak of, and as much as I love him, I think he's going to do the "sway back & forth from left foot to right foot" kinda dance.  Plus he's 75 and will most likely need his cane.  Any ideas?
