Could you get photos taken with him while/before you get ready? if it’s close by that could be an option, otherwise someone would have to bring him to the venue and then take him back home.

My friend had a beautiful professionally made bracelet made of a lock of her baby’s mane, I’m not sure how you feel about that but it didnt use much

gillykat824:  Can you incorporate horeshoes in your decor?

I added ribbon and a mini cast iron horseshoe to little wooden flower arrangements I found at Walmart. Tied in nicely with our little western wedding!

or get plastic horses from the dollar store, spray paint them and use them for place card holders etc

Though technically not favors, guests snatched up the gold horse figurines that decorated dinner tables at this glamorous Kentucky wedding.

To place guests at their Kentucky wedding, this couple spray-painted plastic horses gold, drilled a small hole in each, and inserted wires to secure the cards.Gold Horse Escort Cards | Photo: DWJ Studios #cjsoffthesquare

We named our signature drinks after our two dogs. We also put pictures of them at the bar, and it was the only place we used pictures at our wedding.

I have horses too.  In fact the groom and I met on horseback.  I am leaving them out of the day as it would be too much trouble and too much capacity for things to go wrong.

Is it terribly ridiculous to have someone at the farm FaceTime with you so you can see him that day? Maybe you could just have a framed picture of you two at your table?

Maybe as a cake topper? Put a picture of you, FI and the horse on the program? Take engagement photos with him? Put a little picture of him in your bouquet?
