I am having an informal wedding in Las Vegas, on the balcony of our hotel suite in the evening. It will be immediate family only. I am waering a short dress, that is strapless, and I have short hair.

I really HATE veils and it does not suit my taste at all, but I still want to look like a bride. Anybody out there ever gone without a veil, and did you do anything in it's place? Thanks for the help. K

you don't have to wear one period, or even anything that even looks like one. What about a pretty head band or other hair acessory?

If you're wearing white, have a few flowers, and smiling so hard your cheeks hurt,  you'll look like a bride.

What about a feather head piece? I have seen a few on wedding blogs that look beatiful!

Everyone has given you good advice, you dont have to wear a veil, any pretty barrette, flower, headband, feather or NOTHING AT ALL will suit you just fine.  I once wore a hawaiian Haku Lei on my head, they take a long time to make because they are woven from so many different flowers and raffia but it was beautiful!  I know you can get one shipped overnight if you go that route--its not very hawaiian looking in the end, just beautiful.
