Not at all. Just focus of the venue and photographer. Some of these can get booked up early. My 1st choice of photographers only had a couple of weddings booked a couple of months ago but one was on my date 🙁

Depending on where you get your dress, it can take up to 6 months for yours to be made and get to the shop, so about a year in advance is a good time to aim to have chosen your dress.

If you start early, you have loads of time for DIY-ing and researching the best places to spend your money

I would recommend working out a budget before you start booking things and spending money to ensure you will still be able to afford it when you get to May 2015. So many of our vendors want payment a month before the wedding.

@chelseakayd:  I think the earlier the better! My date is on September 2015. I’ve started looking at ideas and things i would like, I have change my mind on thngs like a million times alreday! LOve all the time i have to plan and change things before I sign contrats and stuff.
