We are having our wedding in Baltimore and currently live in Texas. So we’re planning to visit in August to hopefully meet with most of our vendors. So far we are meeting with 2 caterers for tastings, 2 photographers, 1 florist, 1 Day-of wedding coordinator, and 1 baker. I have my dress already and we have our venue. I was considering giving my BMs a color and letting them get whatever dress they want in that color (my BMs live in different areas so BM shopping isn’t really possible).
Is there anyone I’m forgetting that we should meet with?

Questions to ask yourself:
Where are you staying and for how long; hotel?
Where am I getting ready the day of or where am I putting my gown on?
How will I get there; transportation?
Where am I meeting my Bridal Party?
Breakfast, Lunches, Dinners, depending when your wedding begins or for your entire stay!
Photography spots, any local gems or scenic views you love/cherish? First Look?

@hotwings: We do need to plan where the after party and rehersal dinner are going to be! *Starts making a list* We’re doing the rentals through the caterers and I’m thinking we’ll be able to do the hotel and car rentals over the phone… I’m very torn on the hair and make-up. I’m wondering if I should do my own make-up. And if I should schedule a hair appointment closer to the wedding day because I’m trying to grow my hair out a bit. Do people normally schedule the hair appointment close to the wedding day?

@CupCakeMeg: Thanks for the ideas!!! We’ll probably meet the wedding party and get ready at our hotel and I’m thinking we’ll take cabs. Everything is really close by and we’re pretty low-maintenance when it comes to that sort of thing! Our wedding location is probably where we’ll take the most pictures – part of the reason we chose it. It’s beautiful. And there’s a park right next to it that we’re going to use for pics too. We do have to figure out how soon before the wedding we’re going to get there… hmm lots to think about!
