Do you need to set up meetings with the following:
Photographer. DJ. Entertainment. Videographer. Priest/Church. Reception Venue. Makeup/Hair salon. Tuxes/Suits.
My Hair is set up. Still need to take care of make up. I have the Photo taken care of. Still emailing about music. Thank you for the priest thing. I had not even thought of that one. My Fin is going on Monday to look at suits where we live.
I think there's some great wedding planning checklists available on Wedding Bee, Wedding Wire and The Knot that may be helpful to you.
You can get some pretty good timelines for free on the internet, just google the keyword. But immediately a few things that comes to mind:
Marriage licence, music and entertainment, photographs, attendants and a to-do-list for them for ont he day, speeches, a programme for events on the day from ceremony through to reception, cake, flowers, rings, wedding attire and relevant accessories, hair and make-up, transport to and frm ceremony if not the same as reception or onward from there, invites, confirmation of numbers to the caterers inlcuding your menu, drinks and quantities. Also think about, your wedding gift list and or registry, a possible rehearsal dinner or rehearsal of the ceremony (not sure how big / small the wedding is so this might not be needed), readings etc.

I am having a destination wedding in New Orleans in March. I am going in one week to visit my friends and family and also take care all of my wedding planning. I have already set my venue and of course have been talking via email to a large number of venders.
I am trying to create a must do list for while I am there because I will not be back in New Orleans until the wedding.
1. Visit venue, 2. Buy wedding dress, 3. pick bridesmaid dress, 4. do food tastings,
I am sure I need to do more than this but can't think of what I am leaving off the list. Do I need to take care of transportation while in town or can that be done via email and calls?
