I don’t know how it would be possible – I’m on birth control and my husband always uses condoms. As far as I can recall, we’ve never had one break or anything. But I’m worried that I may be pregnant. I just started the third week of my bc pills. I did have my period last month, although it wasn’t the typical period for me. But I”ve been sick to the point of puking 2 different days this week – both times in the morning, then I feel better in the evening. I’ve been eating A LOT and I’ve been wanting pretty weird stuff – at ALL hours.
I honestly think I’m just freaking out. I’m not the best for taking my pills regularly – that’s why I insist on using the condoms as backup. My husband thinks I need to go ahead and do a pregnancy test to make sure. But isn’t it way too soon for me to have symptoms even if I was pregant?

Take a test. I’ve been like that before (and scared) and I’ve never been pregnant once! You might just be coming down with something. I have the IUD and we always use condoms, yet I frequently worry I’m pregnant. LOL

@dayl20: take a test. If you were having symptoms, then you’d show up pregnant on a test… I think! But test anyway!

I took a test and it was negative. For some reason, I’m a little bummed even though we weren’t TTC. But we both think waiting to have children is best until Darling Husband is out of med school.

I’d take a test again in a few days just to confirm. I bought MANY a pregnancy test before I was diagnosed with PCOS & Endo — which both screw with your periods. Stress can also affect your periods! It could be any number of things. 🙂
