Well it seems a little late for that, although I totally get how you feel! We wanted a small wedding but because our parents are paying it has turned into something totally different than what we envisioned. But we just try to focus on the positives of what we like about how the wedding is coming out, and the main point which is to get married. How much money would you lose? Is it all your own? Because for us our parents are paying so we don't get to decide that lol. Did people buy plane tickets? There is a lot to consider but if you REALLY don't feel comfortable proceeding you could pobably lose less money reimbursing people for what they've paid (if you even do that) than going through and paying off your balances to vendors. Sleep on it and take a break from the wedding and then decide.

The wedding date is fast approaching and while I'm so excited to be getting married I am a bit bummed about the wedding. Its not coming about the way I thought it would and really I just want to marry the man of my dreams and party with friends and family. I am thinking of just scraping the wedding plans and going to city hall followed by a big bash with all of our friends and family. I haven't brought this up to my FH yet because I want to make sure it is what I really want before we change anything. What should I do?
