Now I know that it’s the thought that counts, not the cost, but seriously, I want to make sure I’m not being cheap here. I’m planning to give my bridesmaids earrings from Banana Republic to wear at the wedding, and satin pajamas from Victoria’s Secret, and then treating them to a mani/pedi the day before the wedding. So I’m spending about $150 per bridesmaid. I’m going to give my Maid/Matron of Honor something extra, but I haven’t decided what yet.
They’ve purchased their own dresses and shoes, and they’re paying to have their hair done. They’re also hosting a shower for me.
Am I doing enough for them?

I’d err more on the side of spending too much! It’s okay, of course, if that’s what you’re comfortable with, but we are buying our girls their gowns (they were $60) and I made their jewelry.

UH, yeah, I’d say $150 is TOTALLY more than enough! I’m probably only spending about $100 or so on each girl. The Bridesmaid or Best Man gift is really just a way of saying thank you and it does NOT have to equal the money they’ve spent on dress, shoes, accessories, etc…You’re being more than generous, lucky BM’s to have such a good friend!

I think you’ve done a good job! I spent a lot per girl (including the dress) and I think if they bought expensive dresses, you’ve done a nice job of showing your appreciation. All that stuff adds up. I’d LOVE to have gotten BR earrings and satin pjs! What a great gift =]

I think that’s a great set of gifts for your girls. You’re definitely spending enough money on them. Also, remember it’s not really as important as to what the final tally is, but how awesome the stuff is. :p

The gifts sound great. I think you are spending enough on you bm. And I’m sure they will appreciate the gifts you will give them no matter what amount.
