I don't have it on my desktop but I do have it on my computer and on my iphone for easy access :-)
Not set as the background. But I have like 8 pics of the ring we're having made always up in a photo viewer. I'm constantly looking at it and when I close my browser there they are in all their giant gloriousness. :) I don't think it's sad. Just something you think is pretty that you like to look at. Plus, it's your computer. Do what you want. :D

I didn't get to choose my ring so it will still be a surprise! I have a mental picture in my mind of the beautiful ring that was my favorite though... It was so beautiful. I'm secretly hoping my SO is getting me that ring ;)~
I can take it one step further, I have a photo of it printed out and taped up on my treadmill along with a photo of my dream dress as inspiration during workouts lol and no, I don't think it is sad lol.
@CarolinaCola: haha thanks :-) I got the idea talking to my friend about inspiration boards... why not use it to motivate my ass on the treadmill lol
Me and SO share the same computer so it's hard to keep things secret! But I have a (not so) secret folder of ideas saved in my pictures folder. Which I think he could easily find if he wanted to. But I am not really trying to conceal it either, haha
Haha, If I had a picture of my dream ring as my background then I would lose sight of the vintage one I can have. My dream rings price is around 7 or 8k and the vintage one I love and can have is 3k without the matching wedding band that I will get later.
@IceCake: Oh yeah, that would suck! Luckily, my dream ring is right in our price range. It's moissanite!

Am I the only one who has their computer's desktop background set to a picture of their dream ring? Haha. Very sad, I know, but I can't be the only one!
