I did this for my shower but instead of checking I would get an email everytime something was bought! I loved it!

No. I looked AFTER the shower and mentioned to one of my BM’s that I noticed the Kitchenaid mixer had been purchased but that I hadn’t received it at the shower.
Her face fell a bit – I hope I didn’t ruin any surprises!
Well, actually I obviously ruined a surprise from someone out there.

I’ve been doing construction/moving the last few months so it was easier not to check – I just fell asleep when I got home! 😀

Anyway, enjoy your shower!

@aggiemae:  I tried sooo hard not to registry stalk. It was hard and I admittedly slipped up occasionally when deleting or adding items. Some things I knew were coming and it was exciting but I think I was more excited to see things I didn’t know were bought already.

I keep checking mine to see if anyone has purchased anything – so far no, and they may not.  I’m not getting a shower – logistically it doesn’t make sense – and that makes me sad, I won’t deny that, but I still stalk the registry hoping someone buys me one of the pretty things on there…or my towels, i really want new towels.

I totally registry stalk.  The only things bought so far is what my parents got us for Christmas.  lol

I checked it by accident and now I can’t stop.  Shortly after the shower invites went out my mom told me that she’d heard some of the things I’d registered for were out of stock or not available.  I logged onto the registry to check things out just to make sure I wasn’t asking  for discontinued items, and I saw some purchased items.  Now I keep checking.

If I had never seen that I wouldn’t be checking now, I probably wouldn’t have even thought of it.  But I can’t unsee it.  And now I know how fun and exciting it is to see things crossed of the list.  No turning back now 😛

@aggiemae:  Stalker here.  Yup can’t stop myself… I get gitty but at the same time it kills me not knowing who has purchased it!

Nothing has been purchased yet, but I imagine that I will! I’ll need to add more things and stuff gets purchased!

I’ve been checking to wait to see what is the first thing that is purchased…my shower isn’t until April and wedding in June through so it might be a little bit. We started our registries about a year ago though so I’ve been updating them and looking at them forever.  I’m not sure what I’ll do after one item is purchased registry stalking-wise, but I’m dying to know what item is purchased first because for some reason I think it will epic.
