You’re not the only one! That’s the problem with long engagements! It leaves you too much time to change your mind. I had a billion ideas at the beginning of planning that are so different now!

You are NOT the only one who cahnges their mind. That was me for the last 6 months–waffling back and forth.  This theme! No, that theme!  These colors.  No, No these colors are better…We’re 5 months away from the wedding and it’s just finally coming together.  It will for you too!

I changed my mind so many times that FI sat down with me and the laptop and said “We’re making a final choice today”. πŸ™‚

You still have some time to change your mind, don’t sweat it!

Oh you are definitely not the only one!

Like a PP posted, that’s the issue with long engagements! For a few months, FI & I had planned on having a destination wedding – and then out of nowhere (after we told everyone in the entire world, it seems), we decided to keep it local.

Don’t even get me started on decor!! Haha.

lace dress..wait NO! straps!  oh gosh, no beading AT ALL! oooh, ruffles!  I think I’d rather have rosettes!  ooooh pretty beading!

simple small floral arrangements!  ooooh, tall manzanita branches!  I like these branches! I could hang crystals off them!  wait a second, these ostrich feather centerpieces would work SO much better!  Why haven’t I ever thought of mason jars as centerpieces?!

candy buffet, obviously.  Nah, I’d rather rent an ice cream truck!  How cool would that be?!  Ooooh SHE did a s’mores buffet!  I could do that too!

=)  I’ve been there

And I thought I was the only one!  I drove my finace and his sister crazy!  His sister is extremely helpful, but is one of those people that decide on stuff very easily and she sticks with it.  She has also been to dozens of weddings so she already has her whole wedding planned in her mind (she is not engaged or has a bf).  I had never thought of any wedding details before I got engaged.

I know I like green.  I have finally decided on green, shades of purple and silver.

In the begining I thought green and pink…then thought that is really not me. Then I chose green and brown..but I dont like brown much lol…then I chose green, ivory and gold….I thought that would be it but everyone was telling me that I needed something more fun and the girls would not be happy wearring a green or gold or ivory dress.  So yeah green shades of purples and silver it is…..or is it?….lol

Once you pick out your dress it will narrow down some… and when you order the bridesmaid dresses- then you really narrow down… but you’re not the only one.  I changed the color of the bridesmaid dresses back and forth 3 or 4 times the DAY they were ordered.  I almost called the day after to switch them, then I realized that the coloring set the theme, and I stuck with and embraced it.  πŸ™‚ You’ll figure it out, but in the mean time, maybe keep your FI a little more out of the loop- he’ll thank you for it.

@Happy_Bee: Don’t doubt the green dress- I gave my girls the option of green or purple, 2 out of 3 wanted green, the third was won over.

(we have very similar color choices, we just add gold because our venue is red and gold)

You’re not the only one πŸ™‚ There’s so much eye-candy and so many great ideas out there that its hard to not change your mind. For me, I waffled back and forth a few times on colors/ themes, etc. Finally, I just had to make a decision and made it – mostly due to timing. It’s been this way for everything. I keep chaning my mind πŸ™‚ But on the day that i have to make a choice, I just go with my gut. The next day, I probably would have made a different decision, but there’s really no right/wrong :).
