i have a care bear shirt and a cookie monster shirt, but i usually only wear those to bed/around the house.
I have a lot of Character shirts... Love your HK shirt! =)
Unless they came from thinkgeek- most of my shirts were free or from some event on campus. Fairly unoriginal (though I do like my "sic'em flutes" shirt, for some reason random people find it amusing)

I only have one character shirt, it's got a giant Micky Mouse on it. FI brought it back from a business trip to Cali, but I only wear it around the house.
Right now I'm wearing a black t-shirt that has extremely bright neon butterflies all over it. I also have a couple happy bunny shirts that I wear fairly regularly and a tank top with pebbles and bam-bam from the flinstones on it. As long as you're comfortable with it, I say go for it!
I LOVE cartoons t-shirts... lol.. I´ve got the smurfs, sesame street, the fraggles, chip and dale, lola bunny, grafield, sponge bob squarepants, dinosaurs, nightmare before christmas, alice in wonderland, mickey mouse etc etc etc... LOL everytime I find a cute and fun one I buy it.. just love them
I had an amazing collection of My Little Pony shirts, but then I gained 50 lbs. Lamest 50 lbs ever!! (Though the food to get here sure has been delicious.)
My personal standard is that those types of things are fun and adorable in your 20's and not in your 30s. I am 32 so those days are over, but they were fun while they lasted.

I have a Mario & Luigi shirt I wear around the house and a pair of Happy Feet pajamas I sleep in sometimes. Overall, my style is on the dressier side but I'd be happy to lounge in some cute t shirts!
I have a Snoopy set of PJs I wear around the holidays, but other than that those days are long gone for me I think :)
