- Wedding: January 2015
Currently, the venue provides white floor length restaurant quality linens. I was thinking to highlight the cake table with a sequined champagne tablecloth as well as the sweetheart table and if I don’t use the white tablecloths provided then for the other tables I was thinking to use a light gold or champagne color tablecloth. We will use long tables with lots of candles down the center with a few bouquets of white roses placed throughout. I am thinking most likely we will use dark brown Chiavari chairs so its not too much gold color.
Will the tablecloths be too much? I want a warm, cozy and formal feel. We are getting married in January.
Also, what do you recommend for the cake table? I was kind of thinking plain and simple like the photo below… maybe with some candles around it or will that be overkill? I am hoping the venue can do a spotlight on the cake but if not, I am not sure what should be done to light it up. Most likely the cake will be on a silver cake stand provided by the baker.
The look I am going for:
What I was thinking about for the cake table:
I don’t know if this makes a difference but the venue is on the 16th floor and we will have all of the curtains open for a view of the city.
