Whether you live in a staunch blue or red state, whether you support Obama, Romney, or a third party candidate, PLEASE vote. If you don’t like any of them, write someone in. Write in yourself, your dog, or Mickey Mouse. But VOTE. Politicians pay attention to the interests of who goes to the polls. If your demographic doesn’t vote, the politicians will ignore them in office (and the percentage of Americans who actually vote is pitifully low). If you don’t vote because you feel ignored that none of them do anything that affects you, then you have proven my point. Yes, the barage of negative ads are annoying. Some say that they are designed not so much to disparage their opponent (and let’s be honest, who has ever changed their votes based on ads), but do make it so people are so fed up that they will tune out and not vote. That allows those who DO vote to have that much more of a voice. Don’t give up your voice! If you choose not to vote, know that you are fulfilling somebody else’s plan, and it’s not in your best interest.
If she can vote, so can you! http://gawker.com/5958192/determination-to-vote-trumps-labor-pains-for-one-chicago-mom+to+be
