I just watched the series premiere. Holy crap. I like creepy stuff, but I try not to watch it because it gets under my skin and freaks me out. So I told myself I wasn't going to watch this show...and here I am. I don't think I'm going to be able to NOT watch it now, but it's seriously weirding me out already.
I just watched it - lots happening for a pilot episode! I was creeped out a few times already. Will be interesing to see what happens with it.
Also: The Practice dude likes to walk around starkers, doesn't he?
I usually can't watch scary stuff at night, but I was sucked in. It didn't seem too bad, though I expect it to get scarier.
@jaguar: Yeah he does. He'd probably stop trying to cheat on his wife if he put some clothes on once in awhile. :-P

Sooo sooo weird so far. But I like weird stuff so I know I'm going to watch it again next week. I felt like I was watching a porno half of the time! My fiance walked in on the part where the husband was getting himself off. 
It was definitely creepy! I don't think I was prepared to see Tami Taylor get ravished by the ghost in leather.
Also, while the basement ghost/monster/little girl gremlin was scary, my first thought at seeing her was that she must be taking a break from her work at Gringotts (the Harry Potter bank). Anyone else notice that resemblance?
Yes that shit was beyond creepy! The leather dude was soooo weird... I will definitely be watching next week just because I am weird and I like that stuff lol
Soooo, I just caught last weeks episode. Let's just say I'll be DVR-ing it every week. That's some freaky shit. I love it.
Is anyone else still watching this show? Its actually holding its own. I was worried it would burn out in the pilot but the halloween epi's were great.

I'm resurrecting this thread (no pun intended) because I'm currently catching up on episodes 1-5 (I started late).
HOLY JESUS H. This show is so amazingly intense. I can't believe it. I'm disturbed and disgusted and freaked out and totally addicted.
Anyone else?
Love this show! Not sure how it can keep up with another season but if they find a way, I will be there!
@Ms Hedgehog:I agree. I'm not sure how many more creative ideas for episodes they can come up with. But if they can find a plot for a second season then I am totally in :)
I usually only watch weather channel,college football or NFL or wedding stuff... no series. BUT.... I LOVE THIS SHOW! So hooked! Creepy but good!
I do kinda feel like they revealed too much, and the last two weeks have been a little weak. I just finished the Halloween episode and am now watching the one where Tate shoots up the school. It gives me chills. I'm so incredibly disturbed.
But I can't stop watching!!!!! OMG.
I absolutely love/hate every single one of these characters. They're all so flawed and effed up and complicated, but holy wow.

I LOVE this show. I can't even believe it's on FX, and not HBO or something. It's so suspenseful, too!
Love it and am addicted, and as much as I HATE to admit this, I have a TINY crush on Tate... more like I think the actor who portrays him is HOT, especially being that he is actually 25... But me going into school counseling makes me frown upon his actions! LOL!

Mine is most definitely Moira/Moira. I absolutely love this character and am so impressed with both actresses. Absolute perfection!!
I also really enjoy looking at Ben (duh), but I hate his character.
And Constance! OMG I've never seen Jessica Lange like this and it makes my skin crawl. I love it!
I'm in love with this show...and Tate, even with all his violent craziness lol. Young Moira is crazy hot as well.
Love love love this show! We just had the 2nd Halloween episode on tv here in Australia last week and normally it's on Monday nights, but it's not scheduled this week, so we are going to be even further behind now 
I totally did NOT see the whole Violet thing coming, lol, but it's a little strange to me how supposedly dead people can be so real to others outside of the house. Still love the show though!
FI and I are hooked on this show! It's amazing! I can't wait to see how they conclude this season. Tate and Constance are my favorite characters.
FI and I started watching it On Demand and we thought the fourth episode (the first one we watched) was the premier. I had SO many questions - but I really like it. After we watched the two On Demand we checked Hulu and relized we miss the first three, so we went back and watched those.
I love it - it's so complex, so twisted. And TONS of characters. It's overwhelming, but interesting.
When we saw the preview about the pope and the whole Rosemary's Baby thing, we both kind of groaned, but it hasn't been too bad.

CRAZY about the daughter being dead! I'm very interested to see how this plays out.
I think they could have another season, depending on how the plot plays out. Hypothetically, if Ben and Vivien die in the house, it could start over with new owners buying the house...
Love this show and have been addicted since the 1st episode. I even got my mom addicted! haha.
My favorite character is definitely Constance - love Jessica Lange.
I almost died when they showed violet in that crawl space. I know people had been saying that this was a possibility because she hadnt been to school in weeks, etc, but I was still hopeful she was alive. I guess because I was hoping for a semi-happy ending. Then I remembered it's called American HORROR Story, lol.

I saw the violet thing coming and thought it was pretty obvious. Though after seeing her body and knowing exactly that THATS what theyve been smelling for a few days really disturbed me. Like, ohh Im just smelling my daughters ROTTING body and not realizing it. Ew, ew, ew. Idk why Tate dragged her all the way down to the basement though..
Usually I catch on to those things pretty quickly (esp. movies), but I was oblivious to this one. It all makes sense though.
I think Tate dragged her down to the basement so her parents wouldn't find her. And since she didn't realize that she was dead, he wanted to break it to her gently.
