luv2trvl:  There are ladies on here with Amora Gems in their rings. Hopefully they will see this and post their beautiful photos 🙂 It’s definitely durable enough for daily wear. From what I’ve read on the hardness scale (where a diamond is a 10) Moissanite is a 9.25 and an Amora Gem is a 9.5.

I was decided on a moissanite before I read about the amora gem. I had seen a forever brilliant moissanite and I was in love because it was bright and sparkly with only a hint of color. Seeing it in person made a big impression and I thought I was sold. After reading about the amora gem and watching all the videos out there, I decided I’d rather have that. We ordered one last Saturday and it got here yesterday evening, I’ll attach photos.

It has crisper lines than a moissanite. It doesn’t look at all fuzzy inside. There is absolutely no hint of color besides clear/white. It’s sparkly just like you’d expect a diamond to look. I absolutely love it and highly recommened it. Can’t wait to have it set (and be proposed to lol). So beautiful! Mine is a 1.65 carat F colored VVS2 clarity ordered from BTD.

luv2trvl:  I am curious about this as well.

MstoMrsH:  Thank you for the insight! It looks very beautiful! I have a forever brilliant moissanite myself and I love how much it sparkles but that yellowish tinge and cloudyness gets me sometimes. I was considering switching to the Amora Gem so thanks for the info. They just dont seem to sell many. I want the Amora gem ultra cushion one.

nygirla:  Oh wow, I just looked at the list for the cushion cut. There aren’t many options and man they start BIG. Although I love a large rock 😀 I think after the patent restriction is lifted they will have more options and they will make more varieties in style and hopefully more quantity too. Not too much longer (Aug 2015).

luv2trvl:  i have the amora gem – 1.3ct, H in color. i love it very much. would i recommend it yes. i am extremely rough with my hands and on my jewelery (not on purpose mind you, just clumsy and use my hands alot). i wear it all the time – at the gym, walking the dog, cooking etc. and its stood up to all the hardships i’ve put it through. i inspect it daily to make sure its still looking top notch and it does. i clean it once a week and its very sparkley. i do not pass it off as a diamond. i tell anyone who asks and all my friends/family knows. does it look like a diamond? i think so. i dont have anything to compare it too. the jewelers that set it into my ring was extremely impressed and even the Tacori rep was ohhing and ahhing. On a cloudy day, even though its an H color (the side diamonds are G and i really dont see any difference) its very white but not FLAT. there is some color – mostly some warmer greys and a bit of rainbow but i would never call the Amora a flat stone (btw – these pics were taken in overcast weather) I hope this helps? My lovely for reference….

MstoMrsH:  I know. All they have is like a 3 ct. I currently have a 2 ct FB moissanite so an extra ct to switch would be nice 🙂

ScubaSiren:  Wow! That is very beautiful!

Mine isn’t in a ring yet, but I do have an OEC AG, 2.46ct, E color, IF clarity, ideal cut/polish/symmetry (for SiC of course), and it is one of the most beautiful gems I have ever seen in my life! I have regular RB moissy, amora-ized OEC moissy, and the AG. They are all perfectly suited for daily wear and tear.

My RB moissy are old stock, and one definitely has a bit of yellow/green undertone, the other is pretty much just yellow undertone.

My amora-ized OEC moissy is gorgeous, much whiter than my RB stones, but still has a bit of body color. :

My AG? White, clear, crisp, sparlkly gorgeousness! I’d recommend them to everyone!

Hi I so agree with the rest of the AG owners the Gem is a beauty!! I traded the Forever Brilliant after just purchasing it for the Amora Gem honestly it was a hard decision at first for me I couldn’t get pass the cut of the FB and the awesomeness of fire, too much fire for me as I wanted a stone much more like a diamond. The AG fixed all of that for me and though we were pricing out a diamond again I would never go back.

Mine is a 1.43ct G VS2 is it a pretty shimmering soft off white very crystal clear beautifully cut stone it was a great decision for me the best seeing I had the Asha then the unenhanced also lol (after losing .80 center stone diamond out of my setting) I finally have my “Diamond” again 😉

“Photo Magic” here lol stone to the eye was perfectly clear

They are gorgeous! I have a 2.38 ct E VVS 1 in my e-ring and I love it!

ScubaSiren:  Everytime I see your ring I fall more in love with it! If I may ask, where did you get the setting? I love something similar in rose gold when we hit a big anniversary (like 5th or 10th…we’re older so it would have to be soon…lol)

Lily_of_the_valley:  thanks!!!

wifetobee63:  thank you!!!!!  The setting is the Tacori 2623. I’ve never seen it in rose gold but I think that would look stunning. I Love rose gold but I find with my skin tone it looks a bit washed out! But I am sure Tacori can make you one in rose gold. 🙂

I have a light blue AG that sparkles like crazy. Indoors it’s mostly clear, in the sun there’s a light hint of blue. I love it. Especially when light hits the stone in just the right way that you catch a glimpse of the fire out of the corner of your eye… It gets a bit dangerous when driving though.
