So i had been obessing over getting an amora moissy to upgrade my diamond ering & a new moissy band for my wedding set. I told my husband i wanted this for christmas & had been obsessive about emailing chris & checking every hour when the rounds would be restocked. I was told december (i began messaging in october). Being my ocd self, i asked again in nov & was told the second week of december. Then last week i was told they didnt know, even moissyco assumed they would have them by now.
so i told my hubby to just get me the forever brilliant (he told me keep dreaming…im not even sure if he is even getting me a new ring for christmas, but i sure hope so!!!)). I still have never seen one in person, but the ones here are beautiful…ive also been stalking the btd forums searching for everything about the fb moissys & the sizesl
now, im finding over there that there is a bunch of crap saying FB is a coating and will scratch off…but ive read the FBs come with a warranty & amora does not? I am so confused….ive also read the new FB treatment isnt a coating….i still want one regardless, to me, they look just as beautiful.
my main point of this post (lol) was to say that the website is no longer saying december as for when the amoras would be available again. Just letting anyone that had been waiting to order one know…heck i feel like a waiting bee these days & i am married!!!!

I would still wait for the Amora restock over the FB. I assume you follow the BTD forums? It has been verified that it is not a coating, but I saw a thread on there started a couple days ago that showed FBs had blast marks, scratches, and all sorts of negative effects from the treatment. I don’t know how often this happens, and there are a lot of positive reviews of FB, but I would still be wary. I was really lucky because my FI got my Amora right before they ran out.
Since you’re already married, is there a reason to rush? You could even wait for the Amora Gem in a couple years.

Ive read every thread on the btd boards & the new FB treatment isnt a coating. I read that the ones in question werent from moissyco either because they have to meet a certain standardbefore they are sold on their website, im assuming they wont sell the scratched ones to their actual customers (i hope?). And everyone here seems to be happy with their FB moissanites.
the reason im trying to get it now rather than later is that it would be my christmas present and also “push” present, our son is due in april. Also, ive just never loved my ring, i had no idea he was proposing & i just feel the ring is not my style…if i get a new one, this one will be a RHR. Im not sure i could justify spending that much on myself, at least for the next few years, after we are parents..im going to want to be spending that $$$$ spoiling our baby. (:
