We are also having a post-reception party for the young at heart … We are mainly just leaving it to word of mouth. But, we are having people accept/decline our wedding invite via a Web site instead of return cards, so we just posted it online as well. For us, anyone invited to the reception who is willing to stay out after the reception (12:00am) is invited! If you don’t want to accidently exclude anyone but also feel that the word needs to get out in print, maybe pass along email invites that say "pass the word! bring your date!" This will also keep it informal and fun.

i think email would be the way to go and word of mouth at the reception should make sure everyone who wants to party is informed.

Evite is another email option with cute layouts.
